So, your thinking where do I start? A good pair of dark denim jeans is a great item to have in your closet as well as a pair of black pants (linked below). They both can be paired in so many ways. This pair of dark denim in the left pic above are high rise curvy stretch (similar linked below). Also, cardigans are a great way to add to your outfit and can also add that finishing touch. A denim jacket can be another option, but I love all types and colors of cardigans.
Lets talks shoes...Neutral and black flats are staples to have in your closet. A good pair of low-heel pumps are also nice to have handy. You want them to be comfortable if your standing for hours. Black is always safe to go with. A pair of black tapered trousers, a black blouse with a long cardigan and black flats can be an easy professional look. Add a cute necklace and you are set for the day.
I usually wear a size 12 in pants, a medium to large in tops and my shoe size is 7 1/2. I like a little stretch in my pants. It makes it easier when you need to kneel down to pick up something in the classroom. Keep that in mind when purchasing denim.
