This white dress is perfect for a beautiful lavender field visit. My oldest daughter and I grabbed a coffee and had an early start to our day as we attended the U-Cut event in May this year. We walked around taking in the aroma of fresh lavender and the crisp morning air as we snapped some photos. I was able to cut my own lavender, and I didn't even mind the bees. My daughter and I went last year in June and it was recommended that we come back in May, as the vibrant purple lavenders are in bright bloom. The lavender farm is located in the heart of the central valley in Waterford, Ca.
If you haven't been to a lavender farm, it is a must for the bucket list. There are also many benefits of lavender such as improving sleep, reducing blood pressure, potentially promoting hair growth and it could even help with skin blemishes. The lavender farm also sells culinary lavender, sachets, and soaps (of course we had to take some home). My home smelled wonderful for weeks on end. So, it is definitely worth the drive. This is an unquestionably yearly tradition I would like to continue with my daughter.
This white dress is perfect with the bright purple lavender in full bloom. I love the beautiful lace detail. I am wearing a large to give me a loose fit for kneeling down to cut the fresh lavender. This large woven bag from Target was also the perfect staple to hold my fresh cut lavender, and I must say it goes with everything. This bag is definitely a spring/summer must have. This straw hat is another great accessory to complete any outfit and I can proudly say, it get its use!
"That pretty much sums it up in a nutshell"
